Nius X is a pop duo formed in 1996. 

The group consists of Nils Olsson (lead vocals and keyboards) and Linus Kase (lead guitar, keyboards, drums, bass and backing vocals). 

Initially rooted in classic pop music with influences from Genesis, Depeche Mode and Nik Kershaw, Nius X sound has grown to incorporate styles from many genres of popular music, yet has maintained an anthemic sound built on the expressive vocals of Nils Olsson and the evocative chords and soundscaping of Linus Kase. 

Their lyrics, often embellished with pointed messages, focus on sociopolitical concerns. Based in Stockholm, Sweden the band is today often described as a cross of eighties style synth music and contemporary alternative pop.

Released in 1991, 'Step Into Time' was an album by Belgium? outfit 'Man Machine'...

Not alot is known about Man Machine.. I first stumbled across this album while reading a music magazine on the way to work and thought that the album cover looked futuristic... 

Two songs stand out on this album, 'Man Machine'(Track 7) & 'Play to Win'(Track 10)...There is also alot of experimental stuff on here.. Good if you like electronic beeps & stuff..

The album managed #54 in Australia & #55 in the U.S Music Charts

This album was only released on CD in the U.K and is extremely rare, selling for $314 on Discogs.com

Me personally, didn't know about this album, until it showed up on Ebay recently.. (Currently has a $103 price-tag with 8 days to go (9 bidders))

Soundtrack wise, this would be the last single from band 'Berlin' as the song 'Take my Breath Away' would break the band up due to indifference... i.e, they hated the song..well, most of them because they didn't write the song..Giorgio Moroder did

This album was once voted the best 80s soundtrack
