Hello and Welcome Back... Its that pointy time of year where Christmas is just around the Corner.
DONATION DRIVE
2 times a year I do a donation drive. Around June / July & November / December.
Donations
are what keeps this site going, whether it be new content (CDs,
Downloads ,etc, etc) Storage of files and upkeep of equipment.
In
regards to CDs / Music Files / Downloads, 'Electronic80s' has posted
3,155 albums (posts) to date and have been doing so for 10 years. That's
2 CDs / Albums a day for 10 years, give or take.
Storage has
been a huge pain for the site. You may have noticed that i have been
using Google Drive lately as Microsoft Drive keeps telling me 'I'm Over
My Sharing Quota'.. and i pay these idiots for storage only to be told
that i cant share anything.. Go Figure, so I have to pay again for my
Google Storage that keeps running out..
I hate asking for
donations but its a necessary evil, So, all i ask is, if you download /
listen to CDs / Albums on this site and you enjoy the selection, please
hit the 'Donate' tab under 'Shout me a Coffee' banner. It takes only
30seconds and i use Paypal so its Safe and you don't need to be a member

I have been
lately taking a break on the weekends as i run another website 'NSW
Radio & Communications' where I program customers radio scanners,
each radio can take 4-6 hours (inc breaks) to program, so it keeps me
busy. Its exciting listening to things as they happen on a radio scanner
/ receiver & not have to wait to see if it made the news. BTW, only
about 5% of what i hear on the scanner makes it to News / Papers..
Makes for some very interesting listening. Also its interesting to hear
the lies the media spin when you can hear the truth in real life on a
radio scanner.
Moving On...
On Friday 15th December i will be taking a few weeks break to spend time with my wife & kids and to let my body heal.
Sitting
at a computer for 6-9 hours (many breaks included) sorting music files /
CDs for 5-6 days a week for 10 years is starting to wreak havoc on my
body, mostly my shoulders (frozen shoulders) and neck stiffness / pain,
lower back (always a problem), pelvis (always a problem = see 1989-Lost
Hits Album) so i am going to go outside and smell the roses, roll around
in the grass & sunshine while i can.
'Soundz80s - Best Of
Soundz80s Vol7' is due Wednesday 13th December. I am putting the
finishing touches on it as we speak. Its a wicked album, 6 months in the
making with the best songs from 'Sounds80s' part of this site from July
to December 2023.. Very 'Moist'
Aaaand, if that wasn't
enough, i am also in the middle of writing a novel. I don't want to give
too much away but it involves Time Travel using a Alien Time Device.
This novel will also have a soundtrack so while your reading the story,
you can listen to the songs that are in the story line... Well, that's
the idea and its set in the 80s. Never know, maybe Netflix will get hold
of it and make it a TV series like 'Stranger Things'.. Never Say Never
