1981 - THE LOST MIXTAPES (CD Quality FLAC EX)

Hello and Welcome Back.. Around the early 90s, I made a set of mixtapes for each year, that i used to play in the tapedeck of my Honda Prelude

While I was moving a few years ago, I found the original tapes in a box in the garage. I forgot how good these tapes were. The blank tapes i used were 'That's' brand (Taiyo Yuden) from Japan. The only place that sold these tapes were in Sydney City, From memory I think it was Dick Smith or Jaycar Electronics (they were next door to each other) near Town Hall station..

Moving on, I have recreated these mixtapes from First Issue CDs for that 'Lush' sound..

So the 1st year was '1981'... Take a Listen

I SCREWED UP... SORRY

 Hi, just a quick message to let you know that the album 'Timelord17 - We Can Dance (The 'B' Sides) has a new link..

WHY

I'm a perfectionist, it drives my wife nuts.. 

This is also what happens when I rush things and not pay attention. The mastering of the album was flawed in the sound stage that made the song 'watery', well, it did my end, so I spent 3 days re-recording from scratch and after several hair pulling exercises, Then it seems if i have my laptop connected to the internet while recording causes glitches.. I am now happy with the result..

So, to the music lovers who downloaded the album, please accept my apology and download the album again.. Its well worth it.. Take a Listen

Released in 1983, 'Power, Corruption & Lies' (the one with the pretty flowers on it) was the 2nd studio album by U.K band 'New Order which flowered 2 singles... Those being 'Age of Consent' & the massive 'Blue Monday'... Kudos to the track '586' which should have been a single, takes a bit to get into but its bloody wicked..

The single 'Blue Monday' was only on certain Cassette and CD Versions but it was the '12" Inch Version that really put New Order on the map...
