GENESIS - INVISIBLE TOUCH (Japan SACD Multichannel FLAC Version)

Released in 1986, 'Invisible Touch' by U.K band Genesis made it to #1 in U.K, Canada & New Zealand music charts. (#3 in U.S & Australia) and in my opinion, their best album..

The album on offer is the 2007 SACD / DVD Version in Two Parts...(sorry, no DVD)

01. This Version is the SACD FLAC Version (SACD = Super Audio Compact Disc) (950mb)

02. This Version is the SACD Multichannel FLAC Version. To get the best sound, I use Dolby Atmos for Headphones app which is an add on for Windows 10... You can download it from the windows store. You can try the app for free for 7 days then its a $25 purchase... Once downloaded, be sure to adjust your sound card settings to make the function work properly like the pic below

For playback, I use the VLC Music Player. 

Multichannel is a separation of sounds that your headphones perceive in a 3d like environment, it can take some getting used to.

Another way to enjoy multichannel sound is if you own a Android Phone. I am currently using a Samsung S8+ (my sons old phone) and it has Dolby Atmos in the sound settings and works amazingly..  

The multichannel download is 2.57gb in size (meaty)

The version on offer is the original 1995 Gold CD Version in FLAC & EX (EXtended Frequency - 96khz) so the sound is 'Moist'

ENYA - PAINT THE SKY WITH STARS (BEST OF) (CD FLAC EX)

 Hello and Welcome Back... To A New Dimension in Sound (Sounds Flashy right?)

 

'Paint The Sky With Stars' is a compilation album by Irish Music Composer 'Enya'. 

From the Layered Vocals (over 500 times) to various synths at her disposal, there is nothing Irish composer / singer can't do... All from the comfort of her Castle, yes folks, she lives in a Castle.

The album on offer spans the years 1986 to 1997...

You may have noticed the (EX) symbol on the title of this album, so what does it mean?  

I like pure perfection, i am always looking at bettering myself and the things i do.. I wanted to get the best sound out of this album but still make it accessible to download and to listen to..

When you look at a CD, the album your listening to is 16Bit & 44.1khz in structure. While i wanted the album to stay at 16bits (you can do 24 but the files double / triple in size), I have the option when recording the album of the frequency range of 44.1, 48 or 96khz which is the range that the album can expand to.. The better the Frequency range, the better the Bass, Mids & Highs can 'Breath' and 'Open Up' and that's what i've done with this album...

This album has 96khz frequency range instead of the normal 44.1khz.. Can you notice the difference?

Me personally, I can hear the difference, the music now has a better 'surround' and better all round sound, like a veil has been lifted, so to sound 'Moist' & 'Lush' at the same time... Take a Listen

 Hello and Welcome Back... The album that started my Cabaret Voltaire Love...

 

Released in 1990, 'Groovy, Laidback & Nasty' was the 9th studio album by U.K band 'Cabaret Voltaire' and was the first taste i had to this great band.. In fact, it was the song 'Hypnotised' that got regular play in 1989 on Triple J radio station in Sydney while i was tied up in hospital for 4 months after a bike accident.. I particularly loved the 'Star Wars' sounds in the middle 8, very nice touch.. Gives the song a spacey electronic edge...

LEAD FOUNDER OF 'CABARET VOLTAIRE' HAS DIED

 Hello and Welcome Back... Sad News with the death of  'Richard H Kirk', lead founder of the U.K band 'Cabaret Voltaire'.. He was 65 years young.

Strangely, this song also reminds me of my first kiss, in Kindergarten (St Johns Primary), it was just after the home-time bell rang and i was supposed to be catching a bus but instead, i was behind the piano, kissing Deborah Hull.. I only just made it to the bus but i had a spring in my step...YAY
