ROXETTE - LOOK SHARP (Germany First Issue CD FLAC EX) (Re-Up)
Hello and Welcome Back... One of my most Fav Albums of the 80s. The Made In Japan First Issue CD can be found HERE
Released in 1988, 'Look Sharp' was the 2nd studio album by Swedish duo 'Roxette' (Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson) which seen 5 singles flower from the album, those being 'Dressed For Success', 'Listen To Your Heart', 'Chances', 'The Look' & 'Dangerous'
Kudos to tracks #3 'Sleeping Single', #5 Dance Away, & #11 '(I Could Never) Give You Up'... All should have been singles
The album on offer is the Made in Germany First Issue CD in FLAC EX Format...

ROXETTE - JOYRIDE (Japan First Edition' CD FLAC)
Hello and Welcome Back.... Lush Album This...
Released in 1991, 'Joyride' was the 3rd studio album for Swedish duo 'Roxette' which seen the album flower 5 singles, those being 'Joyride', 'Fading Like a Flower', 'The Big L', 'Spending My Time' & 'Church of Your Heart'
For me, this album has a bitter sweet memories, i love the album but it came out in a turbulent time in my life.. My Granddad (who i was close to) had a heart attack and me listening to this album on my way to the hospital seen me walking around balling my eyes out.. He died a few weeks later.. (The song 'Spending My Time' is one that brings me tears)
The album on offer is the 1991 First Edition Japan CD in FLAC EXpanded Frequency Version..

ROXETTE - LOOK SHARP (Japan Original Release CD FLAC EX)
Hello and welcome back..
The Swedish duo of Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessel known as Roxette, came out with this gem of an album in 1988.
The album 'Look Sharp' made it to #2 in the Australian music charts, strangely it only managed a #23 in the U.S.
A string of hits on this album included 'The Look', 'Dressed For Success', 'Sleeping Single', 'Dance Away', 'Chances', 'Dangerous' & 'Listen to Your Heart'.
My pick of the album is a hard decision, there are so many excellent
songs to choose from but i went with '(I Could Never) Give You Up', its
an emotional song for those who have lost in love or had a loved one
leave .

ROXETTE DEMO TAPE
Hello and Welcome Back... Before Roxette, there was Demo's
My inspiration of making this Demo Tape was the various demo albums released by Roxette front- man "Per Gessle" who was the mastermind behind the sound.
So, i collected my favs and made this mixtape which i then re-mastered from a 24bit Recording.
BTW, This is one of my new re-masters that i made after making a mistake, only to learn that, that the mistake sounded better than the way i normally do things... it now only take 9 steps to Re-Master my Music...
It now sounds more 'Fuller' with nice bass and crisp highs with excellent separation...
Love when that happens

ROXETTE MIXTAPE (Remastered)
Hello and Welcome Back... A Lost Tape has been revived.
A few posts back, I was writing about some Tapes and Discs i had found while looking for a album Cover... This is one of the Tapes
I made this Mixtape in the early 90s.
For me, the early 90s was a difficult / fun / scary / sad time.
My Grandfather had a series of heart attacks.
I left home for the first time and moved in with my then girlfriend.
Her name was Jodie Horne. She was a fun, exciting, gorgeous girl and i often asked myself "whats she doing with a guy like me"?..
It was around this time Roxette released their album 'Joyride' and for me, life was a joyride for a while.
Sadly it ended with said girlfriend, a mix of self doubt & trust issues. We were together for nearly 1.5 years?
After splitting with said girlfriend, i was living in my car for a while and moved once again, closer to where i was working at the time.
Found a awesome granny flat to live in..
Grandfather passed away..
As i sat in my car one afternoon, listening to this tape, tears streaming down my face, thinking how I lost my girlfriend, my Grandfather & my Family (they didn't want to talk to me at the time), I wondered what was to become of my life...
I then asked a friend to move into said granny-flat. She was to become my future wife.
Things Will Never Be The Same....
Remastering this album was difficult to say the least, not only the memories of that period in time but the recent passing of lead singer "Marie Fredriksson"..
There were a few tears shed..
