YAZOO - STATE FARM (Madhouse Mix) (Bonus Video)
State Farm sketches a party scene.
In the first verse Charlie and Louie are getting ready for it. The second pictures an unnamed girl with too much money (not from the State Farm, i.e. social security) which she spends on booze and drugs.
A ‘you’ is being spoken to, probably the drug dealer.
In the third verse there's an ‘I’ observing the dealer and condemning him.

Released in 1982, 'Upstairs At Eric's' was the 1st studio album by U.K duo 'Yazoo' (Yaz in the U.S) which seen 3 singles spawn from the album, those being 'Only You', 'Don't Go' & 'Situation'
Kudos to track #8 'Goodbye 70s' Should have been a single...
Album was produced by Eric Radcliffe, hence the name of the album...
The album on offer is the Made in U.S First Issue CD in FLAC EXpanded Frequency and includes various tracks not on other versions. Track #4 'I Before E Except After C' features voices from Erics Mum (also included a yummy breakfast of Egg & Chips)
