Released in 1987, 'Now That's What I Call Music Vol1' is an Australian compilation album, available on Vinyl & Cassette.. It was never released on CD...

I found a copy of this album back in 1988 at a HiFi Convention at Birken Head Point in Sydney, NSW and they were giving them away in a sample bag.. I asked the guy if he had any on Cassette as i was into cassettes in the late 80s... The look of horror on his face.. 'Inferior product, be gone with you'

I got the cassette version back in 1987 while working at B.P in Queen Street, Campbelltown and was a great listen as i rode my bike home after a busy 12hr day...

1987 - RIGHT ON TRACK (Australian CD FLAC EX) (RE-UP)

 Hello and Welcome Back... One of My Fav Compilations, I Even Wore the Cassette Out back in the Day

 

Released in 1987, 'Right On Track' was a compilation available in Australia, and was my first introduction of Euro dance, thanks to the first 3 songs... Just about all the tracks on this are a winner except one, 'Track 13 = Billy Vera - At This Moment is a slow live track that i had never heard of and one that i skip because i cant stand it... Its a strange addition on an album mostly full of dance tracks..

'87' Right On Track' was one of the first albums i brought when i left school and started work at a department store (Venture). While i brought this album on audio Cassette when i came out, it wasn't for a few years later i got a version on CD, and WOW.. What a Difference.

Back then, around 1988/89 i owned a CDC Cd Player (Made in Japan) from a second hand store called 'Oscars Mother' situated in the Downes Arcade in Campbelltown, NSW. 

What made this player so good was that it had a headphone jack on the CD player so it was direct from disc to headphone. 

This was one of the first albums that introduced Euro Disco to Australian audiences with the first 3 tracks being wicked dance tracks... Something that made me sit up and go 'Wow, I Love This'
