Released in 1982, 'Beatitude' was the 1st studio album by U.S singer / Musician 'Ric Ocasek' (The Cars) which seen 0 singles, saying that, Track #5 'Connect Up To Me' was a popular song, even made a 12" inch version of it..

The album on offer is the U.S first Issue CD in FLAC EX Format...

 Hello and Welcome Back...Rare Solo Album from 'The Cars' front-man 'Ric Ocasek', One of My Most Fav Albums..

 

Released in 1986, 'This Side of Paradise' was the 2nd studio album by U.S singer/musician 'Ric Ocasek' ( Richard Theodore Otcasek) which seen 2 singles flower from the album, those being 'True To You' & 'Emotion in Motion'... 

Kudos for the song #6 'Mystery' & #7 'True Love' they should have been a singles... In fact, this is one of those albums, that are a pleasure to listen to from start to finish...

Sadly, in 2019, Ric Ocasek passed away, he was 75 years young.. RIP

The album on offer is the Japan First Issue CD in FLAC EXpanded Frequency Format... Very 'Moist'

RIC OCASEK - LEAD SINGER OF 'THE CARS' HAS DIED

Hello and Welcome Back.... Sad news

Lead singer of the 70s / 80s band 'The Cars' has died.

Ric Ocasek (Richard Theodore Otcasek) was the lead singer for most of the bands history which started around 1976 with Benjamin Orr (dec) swapping vocal duties

One of the Best 80s albums (in my opinion) was Rics 1986 solo album 'This Side of Paradise' which spawned the hit 'Emotion in Motion'.

The other excellent albums that are similar are 'The Cars - Heartbeat City'

  & Benjamin Orr - The Lace

All are highly recommended albums...

Ric was an amazing singer/ music producer/ musician. He was only 75 years young.
