2 MILLION VIEWS REACHED

 Hello and Welcome Back... A little bit of a milestone for my website 'Electronic80s / Soundz80s' as we tick over 2 million views...

 

 

Back in 2013, i had a work accident and was not able to work anymore.. I stared at myself in the mirror and wondered where this new part of my life was going to take me as i had been working since i was 16..

If my bod was going to give me massive amounts of pain, i figured i should try to put a positive spin on it...

I could sit and play PlayStation / video games all day, but being in constant mind numbing pain does something to the brain, 'Brain Fog' is believe its called so i decided to make a webage about music..

'Music is the Balm for one's Soul'

When i first started Electronic80s, i started by making around 10 other websites of various nature, to see where they would take me... 

I created 2 music sites, this one (Electronic80s) and another that would showcase 'New' music that kinda sounded 80s called 'Sounds80s'. The Sounds80s site would be based on a Countdown style site similar to what i grew up with but i grew tired of putting a weeks worth of effort into Electronic80s and forgetting Sounds80s. After a while i decided to merge the two sites, changing the name to 'Soundz80s' and changing the Electronic80s site to 'Soundz Electronic' but a few weeks later decided to go back to what it is today 'Electronic80s'

I now only run 2 websites, this one and a Electronics Radio site called 'NSW Radio & Communications' my other hobby, mostly Radio Scanners and 2-Way / Shortwave listening..

Some might say that 2 million views isn't very much, but that's fine with me as i don't want this site to be a massive website, because then, it becomes a chore rather than a joy to reminisce and listen to albums that became part of my childhood..and more

One thing that i have always maintained for this site is 'Quality', which is why you wont find mp3 songs of low quality, it was, at one time, AAC files but now, were fully under FLAC EX Files.. what is FLAC EX?, find out Here
