Hello and Welcome Back... Love This, this album has my second most loved song by Enya (1st is Caribbean Blue), That song is 'China Roses', its such a lush, stunning song with an amazing melody, Take a Listen

 

Released in 1995, 'In Memory Of Trees' is the 4th studio album by Irish singer / musician 'Enya' (Enya Patricia Brennan) which seen 'Anywhere Is' & 'On My Way Home'. Kudos to track #6 'China Roses', should have been a single.

The layering of her voice is done by recording 20 + versions of her singing the same song, each version/take is sung differently. Also different microphones are used to various effects then the vocals are then layered to get a 'choir' type effect. 

Each album takes 3 years to write.
