Released in 1981, 'Duran Duran' was the 1st studio album by U.K outfit 'Duran Duran' which spawned 3 singles, those being 'Planet Earth', 'Girls on Film' & 'Careless Memories' 

This album was the pinnacle sound of the 'New Romantic' era with lush synths, fluffy pirate shirts and heaps of makeup, in fact, this is one of those rare albums you can listen to from start to finish and not skip on tracks...Its that good...
