THE CURE - STARING AT THE SEA (The Singles) (Japan CD FLAC EX)

 Hello and Welcome Back... Wicked Album This, I Had a Copy on Cassette Back in the Day...

 

Released in 1986, 'Staring at The Sea - The Singles' (also known as 'Standing on a Beach) was a compilation album showcasing various popular songs from U.K band 'The Cure'

I brought a copy of this album on Audio Cassette after a pretty girl who worked at the family light shop in Campbelltown, NSW was a huge fan of 'The Cure'. 

Her name was Nicole (from memory) and she often worked there with her mum. 

I worked at the BP servo (service station) 2 shops down and would pop on in to the lighting shop for a quick chat with Nicole and her mum... Only, someone didn't like me doing that, as her dad took a disliking to me probably because i spoke to his wife more than he did.. Who Knows??

Anyhow, the bastard got me sacked after a gesture of goodwill backfire (i gave him a free pack of smokes.. Looking after the fellow shopkeepers), he then went and told my boss that i was giving out free stuff and that i thought he (my boss) was a silly old bastard.. Its true, i did think my boss was a silly old bastard, but a lovable one, he was like a dad to me and it hurt like hell to have this prick use my words against me..
