Hello and Welcome Back... Punk Meets Pop with Catchy Tracks...

 

Released in 1984, 'This is What You Want' (This is What You Get) is the 4th studio album by U.K band 'Public Image Limited' (PIL) which seen 2 singles spawn... Those being 'This is Not a Love Song' (Re-recorded) & 'Bad Life' but the hero of the album was the song 'The Order of Death' which used the catch phrase 'This is What You Want, This is What You Get'... Sadly, not a single but did enter U.K charts for 2 weeks..

The song 'Order of Death' had me going nuts in 1989 as a radio station in Sydney, Australia (2JJJ) used this song for their song request Saturdays while they were talking... As i scoured the record shops looking for a song called 'This is What You Want', i finally rang the radio station and found out it was called 'The Order Of Death'... And Yes, I requested It... Magic song, sounds wicked on a good set of headphones..

The album on offer is the 2011 Japan issued SHM / SACD Version in Flac Expanded Frequency Format
