Hello and welcome back.... What do you you get if you cross New Order and Cabaret Voltaire?
A. = Boxcar
From the late 80s, Boxcar were one of those bands that from the moment you heard them, you would fall in love.
Their music was that good and in my opinion, should have been bigger than they were....
Boxcar hailed from Sydney, Australia and was fronted by Brisbane singer 'David Smith', Synths were from 'Brett Mitchell and Carol Rohde'.
In 1990 they released the album 'Vertigo' (one of my favorite 80s albums) and this single 'Insect' was from this album.
Another big hit was the song 'Freemason' which was also on the album 'Vertigo' which reached No8 in the U.S Dance charts.
If you ever get the chance to get your hands on this album, I highly recommend it... A 10/10
