WHERE TO FROM HERE? .. I'LL BE BACK SOON

Hello and Welcome Back.. I am taking a break starting from Saturday 5th October till 17th October.

I feel burnt out. I feel like I have done as far as I can go with this website... So where to from here?

I have been posting music to this site for close to 12 years and 3,866 posts later and close to 3 million views, I find myself at a crossroads.

My other interest is programming radio receivers for my other website NSW Radio & Communications which has taken off lately due to an ad I placed on Facebook Marketplace and has had a very positive response, taking up alot of my time..

Some things that come to mind in regards to this site

1. Concentrate on more Australian content (make this site a more niche Australian music site)

2. Go through older posts and fix albums that are of poor quality

3. Only post content now and then

4. Concentrate on 'Soundz80s' content only

5. Leave the site for a few months till I work out what to do

These are a few thoughts that are going through my mind & while I take a break, please roam the site, enjoy what it has to offer. It may not last forever..

If any links are broken, send me a email @ michael-bailey1708@hotmail.com and I will endeavor to fix them when i get back

I used to be able to go back to the first post I did and work from there and update the posts that were originally AAC format, but for some reason I can't no more.

So, that's where I'm at at the moment.. I love my site so I won't be closing it anytime soon. I have spent too much time on getting my site to where it is today, sadly, there are not too many music sites left offering free listenings of music.

This is where donations come into play, with your help, you, the listener, the music lover, when you donate to this site, it goes towards buying new albums, accessing hard to get content that needs payment to continue and being in Australia, everything is twice the price if buying from overseas.

ELECTRONIC SYSTEM - ELECTRONIC SYSTEM (Australia First Issue CD FLAC EX)

 Hello and Welcome Back... The Album That Started It All For Me. 

It was 1978 and I had received a Panasonic shoebox cassette player and 2 audio cassettes for Christmas that year. One cassette was 'The Animals - House of the Rising Sun' and the other cassette was this album. 

Sure, some songs may sound a bit childish (Tchip Tchip = Birdy Dance) but there was one song that I played over and over, (#3 Say With Me) but it was the synth sounds that got me hooked. 

This was music by a Belgian composer called 'Dan Lacksman' who would later become the band 'Telex' in the early 80s.

As an 8 year old, hearing these amazing synth sounds that seemed so foreign in a country, that rock predominantly ruled..

Released in 1973/74, 'The Electronic System' was a electronic synth album by Belgium composer 'Dan Lacksman' (Telex / Electronic System)

The album on offer is the album i re-created to match the songs on my original audio cassette listing from CD sources. 

The cover that was on my original cassette (above) doesn't seem to match the track listings online. The cassette i owned was an Australian release and i wonder if it was a compilation using the above cover. I still have the original cassette which is how i matched the songs to the album on offer.
