ELECTRONIC DRUMS - A INTRODUCTION (Music Download)

Hello and Welcome Back... 3 Things remind me of the 80s... Fashion, Synths & Electronic Drums

Music in the 80s seen two major things happen.. The introduction of Synthesizers and drummers adding extra 'doosh doosh' sounds to their drum kits.

Dave Simmons was just one of the first to start playing with the notion that electronics and drums should go together, meaning one drum pad could create up to 20 different sounds, mind you, the notion that electronic and drums mesh together was thought of back in 1967 by a bloke called 'Felix Visser'

Timing was in Dave Simmons favor as the Simmons drum kit was right at home in the 80s, remember, synths and drum machines were very futuristic, very robotic... all part of the 80s scene

The album i have compiled is a snapshot of the various bands / sounds that had drum machines..

EMOTIONS - A CONTEMPORARY SOUNDTRACK

 Hello and Welcome Back... Some Music to Calm the Nerves..

You may have noticed that i haven't been active on this site for a week, in which i apologize...

 Life has been not the best, mostly due to pain but also due to bouts of depression that tends to pop up in your head at times...

As much as i try to ignore it, it still seems to affect my mood & motivation...

Pain is a big part of my life, and is usually not a big problem (thanks to my doctor) unless i do something stupid that upsets things, but you see, at the moment, its winter here in Aust land and if you ask anyone who deals with pain on a daily basis, the cold affects things and makes life bloody hard at times..

Then there's everything going on with corona virus. Every time you switch on a TV or listen to a radio its virus this or virus that...
Even the thought of having a simple cold now makes you feel like you could have corona virus and will probably die.. well that how i feel and it makes me feel sad and depressed at times.

As we head into September & October, it should start to warm up a bit and things should start going back to normal.. as for the virus, who bloody knows..

Moving On

I created this album after wishing for some music that not only sound good but soothes the nerves as well, easy listening songs, if you wish...

Most of these songs have a really nice melody and makes you feel good or sad aka 'Emotions'...
