Young Turks seen a change in sound for Scottish / English singer 'Rod Stewart' incorporating Synthesizers and Drum Machines into his music where previously it was more rock orientated.
Young Turks was a term meaning 'Rebellious Youth' and had nothing to do with Turkish people (prior to popular belief) and strangely enough, isn't even mentioned in the song.
