Released in 1986, '1987 Lets Party' is a Various Artist Compilation available on Vinyl Record, Audio Cassette, VHS & A Mega-mix Version

Strangely, this album was never released on CD (Most 1987 Australian compilation albums were released on CD but not this one)

This version is CD Quality, nearly all songs are from various CDs, Remastered / Auto-leveled so it sounds 'Swish'
The only difference will be some songs are 'Album' versions and not 'radio' versions. Radio versions were shorter to make them fit on the album.
Also Note, older albums sometimes have Vinyl mastered singles transferred to CD on rare occasions, It was how the record company's brought out some CDs.

Stumbled across this track by accident and i was instantly transported back to 1979/80.

Listening to my Nans Transistor Radio on 2WS / 2UW (Sydney, Australia) this was a song that i loved but had forgotten.

Didn't recognize it at first but the 'Soooooo Saaaaaad' part of the chorus jolted my memory and i was back to easier days.

The band 'Dollar' was a U.K trio of David Van Day and Canadian-born Thereza Bazar.

They had a string of hits in the late 70s / early 80s including 'Mirror Mirror', 'Shooting Star' and this song (among others)

Who were You With in the Moonlight went to #14 U.K singles charts and was available on the album 'Shooting Stars' (track 5 / Side B, song 1)

Released in 1980, "Red Alert" was a Various Artist Compilation available on Vinyl Record & Audio Cassette through Polystar Records

This album has never been released on CD

This version is CD Quality, nearly all songs are from various CDs, Remastered / Auto-leveled so it sounds 'Smashing'
The only difference will be some songs are 'Album' versions and not 'radio' versions. Radio versions were shorter to make them fit on the album.
Also Note, older albums (like this one) sometimes have Vinyl mastered singles to CD on rare occasions, It was how the record company's brought out some CDs.

This album has never been Released on CD.

This version is CD Quality, nearly all songs are from various CDs, Remastered / Auto-leveled so it sounds 'FULLY SIC'
The only difference will be some songs are 'Album' versions and not 'radio' versions. Radio versions were shorter to make them fit on the album.

THE KINKS - COME DANCING

Hello and Welcome Back...

Not very electronic but this track reminds me a little, of the band 'U.K Squeeze'... Very crafty lyrics that tell an actual story.

The Kinks (also a U.K Band) released this song back in 1982 and was from the 1983 album 'State of Confusion'

The song was inspired by memories of the singers older sister, Rene, who died of a heart attack while dancing at a dance hall.
The lyrics, sung from the perspective of an "East End barrow boy," are about the boy's sister going on dates at a local Palais dance hall.
