STEVE STRANGE (VISAGE) DEAD AT 55
Hello and welcome back... Sad and shocking news this morning about Visage front man "Steve Strange" who was found dead in a Egyptian hotel from a heart attack at age 55. He died in his sleep.
Steve was synonymous with the 'New Romantic' movement in the early 80s in London. The Blitz Nightclub was his favorite haunt along with Boy George, Rusty Egan, Marilyn and Midge Ure.
Steve was the face of Electronic 80s band 'Visage', His music led a cult of followers including Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and Dead or Alive.
For me as a music writer and lover of 80s electronic music... I am devastated. Steve was one of the first to follow electronic80s1 on twitter and i felt honored to have Steve follow me. I chatted with him a few times and wish that i had met him in person.
Rest In Peace Steve.

FATAL CHARM - SUMMER SPIES
Hello and welcome back.... Originally starting out as a UK punk band,
Fatal Charm changed direction and came up with this little number in
1984.
The song "Summer Spies" was from the album 'Endangered Species' and was the 3rd single released.
I found this song by accident and instantly like the tune, kind of hypnotic with lush vocals, glad I found it.

Crispin Glover is the US actor who played George McFly, in the 1985 movie 'Back To The Future'... Turns out he hates Clowns, enough to write a song about it.
Um, this video borders on weird, Its very strange... In fact I'm lost for words but then again, it was the 80s
This song 'Clowny Clown Clown' was from the 1989 album called ... Wait for it... "The Big Problem Does Not Equal the Solution, The Solution Equals Let It Be"
