THE STYLE COUNCIL - SHOUT TO THE TOP (Lost Hit)

Hello and welcome back......Fronted by Paul Weller (ex The Jam), this UK band had a huge hit with this song....

From the 1985 album "Our Favourite Shop", 'Shout to the Top' made it to No 7 in the UK music charts.

The rest of The Style Council featured  keyboardist Mick Talbot, (ex Dexys Midnight Runners) and female Vocalist 'Dee C Lee' (Weller's wife at the time).

For me,I love this song, it was played massively on the radio at the time (Sydney 2SM - Rock of the 80s), even today is still sounds crisp and lively.....

Another good song from the album was a song called 'Boy who cried Wolf', wasnt as big a hit as Shout to the Top but it was still a brilliant song.....

Starting the new year with this Australian 1989
hit "Only You" by Tasmanian band 'Bang the Drum'

This single made it into the Australian Top 30 music charts while the band supported 'Fleetwood Mac' on their Australian tour...

I love this song, such a good melody....

Hello and welcome back.... Released in 1985 (recorded in 84),  this excellent song made it to No1 in the U.S Dance charts.....

'I Can't Wait' featured on 2  albums, those being 'Poolside' and 'Tha's Right' (Rare Album)

I love this song.... used to always get confused with a Stevie Nicks song with the same name, but then again, its not hard to confuse me :)

Hello and welcome back..... Such an excellent song, English band "Yes" with 1983 hit 'Owner of a Lonely Heart'....
This song was from their 11th studio album titled '90125' and made it to No 1 in U.S Billboard music hot 100 charts.

Interesting video, its got lizards and snakes and......well, it was the 80s, enjoy
