Hello and welcome back.... 1987 saw this one hit wonder from U.K outfit known as 'MARRS' or ''M/A/R/R/S/" reach No 1 on the U.S Dance charts, U.K and Canadian music charts.

MARRS was formed from two bands, those  being 'Colourbox' and 'A R Kane'

The name MARRS came from the forenames of the five artists involved in the project: Martyn and Steve Young (from Colourbox), Alex Ayuli and Rudy Tambala (from A.R. Kane), Russell Smith (an associate A.R. Kane).....

GODLEY AND CREME - CRY (Lost Hit)

Hello and welcome back....After the breakup of 70s band "10cc", U.K musician & video directors 'Kevin Godley' and 'Lol Creme' made this powerhouse single "Cry" in 1985.

The duo of Godley & Creme were already directing music videos for bands like Ultravox, The Police, Duran Duran, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Wang Chung...

Cry was from the album 'The History Mix Vol 1' and made it to No 8 in Germany's music charts which made them want to....Cry  (Sorry, couldn't help myself)

Keven Godley is now a member of synthpop group 'Art of Noise'

This is a stunning video with face morphing or 'analogue cross-fading' done extreamly well and the ending hits on a high note.... Amazing.

ZLAD - ELECTRONIK SUPERSONIK

Hello and welcome back..... From the Eastern European republic of Molvania comes 'Zladko “Zlad” Vladcik'

The song 'Electronik Supersonik' was to be the entry song into 2004 Eurovision song contest for Zlad representing his home town but he was disqualified for "Recreational drugs" and deported before he could play his tune.

From a statement on Molvania website - On his return, “Zlad” apologised to everyone in Molvania for letting them down, especially his family, his friends and his drug dealer.

Then, in an exciting move, “Zlad” formed supergroup Wow! But while on their very first tour, he decided to go solo again, citing the fact that the rest of the band was “moving in a different direction” (mainly Romania).

Hello and welcome back..... 1983 saw 'I like Chopin' by Italian musician 'Gazebo' (Paul Mazzolini) shoot to No 1 in the Music charts, mostly in Europe... Even Japan rated a No 9 position.

Produced by Pierluigi Giombini, this single went on to sell 8 million copies...

Prior to popular belief, the Piano part is not a Chopin composition....

Such a stunning sound, a true masterpiece of the 80s.....
