PETER SCHILLING - MAJOR TOM (Coming Home) (Lost Hit)

Hello and welcome back.....Originally sung by David Bowie..."Major Tom (Coming Home)" was redone by German singer "Peter Schilling" in 1983.

This single was plucked from Peters album called 'Error in the System - (Fehler im System (German))' and made it to No 1 in German music charts.

Another remake of this song was done by U.S. band "Shiny Toy Guns" which was used in a 2010 TV commercial for Lincoln MKZ cars.
The sound is stunning and looks amazing, if you have a listen, turn it up loud... One word = Palpable.

SCANDAL (Ft Patty Smyth) - THE WARRIOR (Lost Hit)

Hello and welcome back....U.S band "Scandal", released this killer song back in 1984.
'The Warrior' made it to No 7 on the music charts and featured 'Patty Smyth' on vocals, sadly just after this single saw light, the group 'Scandal' broke up and headed separate ways.

Just after the split, Patty was asked to front 'Van Halen', replacing David Lee Roth... She declined.

Patty is now married to tennis star John McEnroe (Think...Are you Serious...The Ball was OUT).

An excellent 80s song with a stunning sound.. Enjoy

Hello and welcome back.... U.S band from California had this quirky hit with "Girl in Trouble (Is a temporary thing)" back in 1984.

I remember hearing this song played alot on 2SM in Sydney Australia...It had such a good sound.

Girl in Trouble reached No 35 on the Billboard top 100 music charts.

If I close my eyes, listening to this song, I can remember summer 1984, laying besides my next door neighbors pool listening to the radio and having fun....Miss those days :)

Hello and welcome back....German band "Celebrate the Nun" had this awesome song,'Will you be There' back in 1989 that made it to No 5 on the Billboard Dance charts.
Lovers of hardcore electronic music will recognize the lead singer (H.P Baxxter) aka 'Scooter'...(Think 'The Logical song' &'Nessaja')
'Will you be There' was let loose from the 1990 album "Meanwhile"....
Such an excellent song / band that went on to produce a more faster hardcore electronic music (Well, they had to start somewhere)... Enjoy.

THE RADIATORS - NO TRAGEDY (Lost Hit)

Hello and welcome back...... Australian band 'The Radiators' had this massive hit back in 1983.
No Tragedy made it to No27 in the Australian Music charts and came from the album "Up for Grabs"
The Rads as they are sometimes known, are fronted by some of the hardest working members in the rock industry, including lead singer Brian Nichol and Guitarist Stephen "Fess" Parker.
I say hard working because throughout the 80s, The Radiators clocked up over 2500 gigs.
They are still touring today and show no signs of slowing down.
On a personal note, I have seen this band live and only one word can describe it..."Electric"
