For me, Its great to see new producers like 2HD take on that 80s synth sound......Kinda keeps the dream alive.

Hello and welcome back....... New Zealand band "Monte Video & the Cassettes" released this strange song in 1983. Must say, Without watching the video, I have no idea what this song is about, also I could have sworn the singer was from the UK because of the English accent, seems I was wrong.
To try and make sense of this song you need to know what things mean =

COMPILATION TAPES - 1980 SIDE A (Music Downloads)

Hello and welcome back......A new series of downloads for the Music Loving Audience called "The Compilation Tapes"....We start at 1980.

The year was 1980, we said goodbye to disco and hello to the 80s.
1980 started on a sad note with the death of Joy Division frontman "Ian Curtis", We also saw the death of The Beatles legend "John Lennon" who was shot dead in New York.
It was also the year when baby Azaria Chamberlain was taken by a dingo near Ayers rock in Australia
On a happier note, Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back & Pacman was released and the question every one was asking......Who shot J.R Ewing on the hit TV show "Dallas".
