NOTES
My Favorite band at the moment.
Sounds absolutely amazing esp on a good set of Speakers / Headphones
Electronic drums used on this album and fairly synth heavy (which i love)
Power Windows was ranked 382 in the top 500 rock albums of all time (Rock Hard magazine)
If you like 80s band 'The Police, Genesis or U2' you should like this album..
There is no such thing as a 'bad' Rush album... 9/10 for me.

My local library was where i first heard this album (Campbelltown, NSW) around 1986..On Cassette.
What started was a love affair for Electric Drums, Luscious Synths and soft honey Vocals = Koo De Tah... Even today, i still love listening to this album.
The CD Version of this album is very rare
If you like the track 'Too Young For Promises' then you will love the full album...

FOTOSTAT - BRAVE NEW WORLD

Hello and welcome back... Early 80s (1982), and the world was dreaming robots, drum machines and synths.
Brave new world was ahead of its time with hints of Kraftwerk, Gary Numan, John Foxx & Visage.

Formed in the U.K, 'Fotostat' consisted of brothers 'Glenn & Mark Robertson'... at one stage featured  in a Technics stereo commercial... cool

KAREN FINLEY - LICK IT

Hello and welcome back... I'll be honest with you

I've had never heard of this song, the only way i knew it existed was because, part of 'Lick It' was used in a S-Express song (S-Express theme) and the Italo Song '49ers - Girl to Girl'

The chant of 'Lick me Good, Like you Should' carries on through both songs...

U.S artist Karen Finley released this track back in 1988 to the gasp of society, to put it bluntly..She made 'Madonna - Like a Virgin' look mild. (it was the 80s folks)
Speaking of Madonna, Mark Kamins (dec) who worked on this track was also Madonna's collaborator. Sadly Mark passed away in 2013
