THE RADIATORS - NO TRAGEDY (Lost Hit)

Hello and welcome back...... Australian band 'The Radiators' had this massive hit back in 1983.
No Tragedy made it to No27 in the Australian Music charts and came from the album "Up for Grabs"
The Rads as they are sometimes known, are fronted by some of the hardest working members in the rock industry, including lead singer Brian Nichol and Guitarist Stephen "Fess" Parker.
I say hard working because throughout the 80s, The Radiators clocked up over 2500 gigs.
They are still touring today and show no signs of slowing down.
On a personal note, I have seen this band live and only one word can describe it..."Electric"

HAYSI FANTAYZEE - SHINY SHINY (Lost Hit(

Hello and welcome back....British New Wave band 'Haysi Fantayzee' exploded out of our speakers and TV back in 1983 with this song 'Shiny Shiny'

Fronted by 'Kate Garner' wearing something close to a Chasity belt? and crop top (someone, bring these back) with singer 'Jeremy Healy', kind of mirroring what Kate was wearing (Lots of stripes) and also lingering in the background was Kates boyfriend 'Paul Caplin' and you have 'Haysi Fantayzee'

I love this song, the outfits were...well, 80s and once you listen to it, it sticks in your head like all good songs should.

E.G DAILEY - MIND OVER MATTER (Lost Hit)

Hello and welcome back..... Elizabeth Ann Guttman (aka E.G Dailey) is probably better known as the voice of "Buttercup" in the 'Powerpuff Girls'.
Apart from that, she has been in a slather of other movies spanning from 1979 till 2012 (Wow)

What made me stand up and go YEAH... is that Elisabeth also did back up vocals for Philip Oakey & Giorgio Moroder's solo album (One of the best 80s albums)
And
(It gets better) she was also in the video for "Rod Stewart - Young Turks" as Patti, the runaway teen.....( you thought I was gonna say I was into powerpuff girls, didn't you?)

After all that she sang this Italo house? hit "Mind Over Matter", which was used in the 1987 movie 'Summer School'...Love this song, still sounds fresh and pumping... The sound of the 80s, Right here.
